CuriosiFVG 2024
International Experience in Friuli Venezia Giulia

da mercoledì 12 a mercoledì 26 giugno 2024
The Regional Institute for European Studies of Friuli Venezia Giulia (IRSE) hosted the International Experience in Friuli Venezia Giulia, CuriosiFVG 2024!
The participants - an international group of 19 students and/or young professionals, aged between 20 and 32 years old, from 9 different Countries: Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania and Spain - stayed in Friuli Venezia Giulia, hosted by IRSE, from the 12th to the 26th of June 2024, and took part in an exciting program packed with guided tours throughout the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, to discover cities and villages of artistic and historical interest, local food, wine and traditions, but also nature and wildlife, cultural events, festivals and concerts. And all of this always with an eye toward sustainable, slow tourism experiences.
The participants also played the role of digital creators and storytellers of their FVG International Experience through their social media and blogs, as a way to promote the beauties of Friuli Venezia Giulia in their own Countries, using the hashtag #curiosifvg2024.
CuriosiFVG 2024 is a unique experience, not only for tourism promotion, but also for its great intercultural value: 19 people between 20 and 32 years old, coming from all over Europe, all together to experience Friuli Venezia Giulia from their different points of view and backgrounds, sharing daily opinions, impressions and emotions.
Sharing opinions, of course, also about the important European goals of sustainable development, economic progress with social inclusion. What do they think about those objectives and how they, themselves, are acting for.
