ABOUT TRAINERS
Russell Stannard, Educational Technologist and founder of www.teachertrainingvideos.com. He received awards from the British Council ELTONS, the Times Higher and the University of Westminster for his work in the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in education. He is especially known for his work in using technology to enhance feedback, teaching online and blended/flipped learning.
Russell was previously a Principal Educational Technologist at the University of Warwick and the University of Westminster. He currently works as a consultant on educational technology at Kings College University London and as an associate trainer at NILE, where he teaches on the MA programme and runs courses in blended/flipped learning. He has more than 60,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and 12,000 subscribers on his popular newsletter.
He is a recommended Camtasia Trainer and a member of the JISC Expert Users Group. Russell has presented in over 55 countries around the world.
Miha Andrič, international Debate Trainer from Slovenia. Currently Head of Education at Zain proti - Slovenian national debate organisation, and Vice Chairman of the Society for the development of the Humanities.
As a quest lecturer he trains students, teachers and judges at debate programs and academies all around the world, from USA and Canada to Russia, Israel, UK and many other European countries such as Finland, Italy and Germany. He is also Head of Bežigrad School speech and debate program. Recently translated in italian his book Dritti al punto: come vincere un dibattito usando argomenti (Pearsons, 2020).
Andrič is a philosopher and sociologist, and devoted critic of contemporary ideologies. Beside his debate work he is heavily involved in many other educational projects. He also held seminars on critical political philosophy at University of Ljubljana.
