COMPETITION OF WORKS CREATED IN SCHOOL PROJECTS

INTERNATIONAL MULTIMEDIA COMPETITION 2019-20
Students from Italian and European Schools and Universities are invited to submit works created in the past two academic years (2018/2019 – 2019/2020), employing various multimedia languages. They must not exceed ten minutes. A storyboard of the Project will be essential for the final evaluation.

of 500,00 euros for a video created by students of second level secondary school

PRIZE OFFERED BY CASA DELLO STUDENTE ANTONIO ZANUSSI
of 500,00 euros for a video created by students of first level secondary school

PRIZE OFFERED BY THE CITY OF PORDENONE
of 500,00 euros for a video created by students in nursery and/or primary schools

PRIZE OFFERED BY THE REGION FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
of 500,00 euros for a work which promotes a territory as it reveals its cultural, anthropological and linguistic characteristics

PRIZE OFFERED BY FONDAZIONE FRIULI
of 500,00 euros for a work which unites expressivity, acting and narration with humour

PRIZE OFFERED BY CRÉDIT AGRICOLE FRIULADRIA
of 500,00 euros for a work which shows particular attention given to the photography

OTHER PRIZES OF 300, 200, 100 euros
The Examining Board may also award extra prizes to works on other themes.

Conditions
Participation is free. All works will be filed in the organization’s collection.

To participate, candidates must fill in all sections of the application form, which they can find at www.centroculturapordenone.it/cicp. They must attach full documentation and/or a storyboard.
The application form, with the storyboard and a copy of the file in .mp4 must be sent, by mail or wetransfer to cicp@centroculturapordenone before 7 pm, 22 February 2020.

As object of your mail, please indicate “Iscrizione Concorso VideoCinema&Scuola – Title of work”.

The committee will communicate the results of the selection at the address indicated by the participants on Tuesday 10 March 2020.

Awards will be presented on Sunday 29 March 2020, at 10 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Centro Culturale Casa A. Zanussi (Via Concordia, 7 - 33170 Pordenone, Italy).
ALL AWARDS IN MONEY WILL HAVE TO BE RECEIVED BY THE WINNERS IN PERSON THE MORNING OF THE PRIZE-GIVING.

Examining Board
The Promoters will nominate a special examining board, made up of experts in teaching methods and multimedia languages. Works will be judged on the basis of their didactic and audio/visual qualities, as well as their capacity for synthesis.

Copyright and Circulation
Copies of the prize-winning works will be made in DVD, available to schools, and will become part of the media collection in the library of the Centro Culturale A. Zanussi, Pordenone. They will also be available on www.centroculturapordenone.it/cicp

IDEAS FOR A VIDEO
NEW WORKSHOPS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS
A Prize of 100,00 euros will be awarded for the best idea to be developed in a short fictional film, a documentary or an animated cartoon in stop-motion.
The project must arrive before 12 October 2020 at cicp@centroculturapordenone.it, or be delivered before the same date to the segreteria at Centro Iniziative Culturali Pordenone (Via Concordia 7, Pordenone).
The committee will choose a work to be created in a free 10-hour workshop in the school between November 2019 and February 2020.
