COMPETITION OF WORKS CREATED IN SCHOOLS
Students from Italian and European Schools and Universities are invited
to submit works created in the past two academic years (2014/2015 – 2015/2016), employing various multimedia languages which must not exceed ten minutes. Essential part of for final evaluation will be a storyboard of the Project.

Prize Provincia di Pordenone
Prize of 500,00 euros for a work which promotes a territory as it reveals its cultural, anthropological and linguistic characteristics.
Prize for Photography Banca Popolare FriulAdria
Prize of 500,00 euros for a work which shows particular attention given to the photography
Prize Music-Imagery
Prize of 500,00 euros for a work which shows outstanding quality in the choice of soundtrack (possibly original) and its appropriateness to the imagery
Prize Humour
Prize of 500,00 euros for a work which unites expressivity, acting and narration with humour
Prize “YOU CAN DO IT” of 500,00 euros for a work – on any subject - created through itinerant workshops for schools sponsored by Centro Iniziative Culturali Pordenone. The workshops, at no cost to schools, will be realized during the academic year 2014-2015 (information can be had from Centro Culturale Casa A. Zanussi Pordenone)
Prize “SO I CAN DO IT, TOO” of 500,00 euros for a short work made with cell phone of one minute or less.,
Centro Iniziative Culturali Pordenone is offering teachers the possibility of some simple multimedia experiences in class.
The following four workshops are proposed (each consisting of five lessons for a total of ten hours): 1. Short film - progress; 2. Good deeds at school; 3. Good news in class; 4. Free theme suggested by teachers. The courses will be coordinated by Giorgio Simonetti, videomaker with experience in schools and with children.
The workshops will consist of a first meeting for analysis and creation of story/stories, a second meeting to design a storyboard, and three meetings for the realization of the film. Actors and videomakers will be the pupils, who will take turns in front of, and behind, the camera. Each workshop will participate as a class in the Videocinema&School Competition 2015/2016
For works deemed worthy of note, the Examining Board can award extra prizes. Presence at the morning of the Award Ceremony is appreciated, to encourage an exchange of ideas and experiences.
Conditions
All works must be sent to the Centro Iniziative Culturali Pordenone (Via Concordia, 7 - 33170 Pordenone, Italy), and they must be received before 27 February 2016, accompanied by the official presentation form.
Awards will be presented on Sunday 10 April, 2016, at 10am, in the Auditorium of the Centro Culturale Casa A. Zanussi (Via Concordia, 7 - 33170 Pordenone, Italy).
Examining Board
The Promoters will nominate a special examining board, made up of experts in teaching methods and multimedia languages. Works will be judged on the basis of their didactic and audio/visual qualities, as well as their capacity for synthesis.
Copyright and Circulation
Copies of the prize-winning works will be made in DVD, available to schools, and will become part of the media collection in the library of the Centro Culturale A. Zanussi, Pordenone. They will also be available on www.centroculturapordenone.it
